Every First Week - Planning Session (Date to be Announce)
23 - Inauguration of the First Republic in Asia and Swearing of Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo as the First President of the Republic in 1899, Barasoain Church
Last Sunday - Traditional Sto.Niño Festival, Malolos, Bulacan
Students and Professionals are all invited to join the Historic Kalayaan Trail, a tour on the historic and heritage sites of Malolos. Visit the Barasoain Church Lights and Sound Museum, Basilica Minore, Casa Real Shrine and the Ancestral Houses in Pariancillo which served as quarters of the operations of the revolutionary government.

22 -Date of the Letter of Rizal to the 21 Women of Malolos, Europe, 1889. Participate on a commemorative lecture by a noted historian on the Letter of Rizal to the Women of Malolos

12 - Independence Day Celebration
19 - Birthday of National Hero Dr. Jose Rizal, 1861
Celebrate the Philippine Independence in Malolos. Join the traditional civic-military parade from the provincial capitol to the Barasoain grounds.
Other activities are also being organized.
Wreath-laying at the Monument of Rizal and a short ceremony in Casa Real to commemorate our hero’s birthday.

15 - Declaration of Malolos as a National Landmark and Heritage Town by the National Historical Institute.

Know how you can help preserve the historic and heritage sites of Malolos. Share your ideas with local officials, NGO and Church leaders through this annual conference on the Malolos Cultural Heritage Preservation. In cooperation with the National Historical Institute and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.

Training of Tour Guides for the Kalayaan Tour of Malolos
Help your WOMFI develop Malolos into an important tourist destination. Volunteer as Tour Guides for our Kalayaan Tour. Professional training will be provided to qualified candidates.
